More on Yesterdays match

I wasn’t at the game yesterday but Galway where down by 6 points at the break, to come back and win by 2. Sean Armstrong was the star of the day with a total tally of 2-03, a fine return after 70 minutes action. Good to see the return of Padraig Lally between the sticks, I fondly remember him there in 2001 against Leitrim in the Championship, only to lose his place at the time to Alan Keane.

Players such a McGrath, Eddie Hoare, Alan Glynn and Reilly starting is encouraging to see, and the introduction of minor footballer last year, Fintan O’Curraoin is also promising.

I have updated the squad stats after yesterdays match and I have complied some match reports from different outlets bellow.
