Alan Mullholland has named a much changed side for Galway’s encounter against Westmeath in Mullingar this Sunday.
Gary Sice, who started wing forward against Louth has been drafted back to wing back. Corofin’s Kieran McGrath comes in for Colin Forde at corner back while in midfield Joe Bergin replaces Fintan O’Curraoin who injured his ankle in the Sigerson Cup semi final for DCU last Friday. In one final change, Conor O’Doherty comes in at wing forward due to Sice dropping back.
It is a much changed side for Galway and it will be interesting to see how they will cope against a Westmeath side minus their Garrycastle contingent but plus the freshly returned from Aussie, John Heslin.
